Hey!
Jetzt ist es offiziell. Lux wird die Band mit Ende des Jahres verlassen, darum suchen RENTOKILL jetzt einen neuen Giatrristen.

but hey, don't worry your heads my friends, maybe we'll see each other at some point again. be it on the road with some other band or maybe even at a Rentokill show, when selling you some merch or whilst hanging around at the bar ;)

As you can see, love, time and energy is what we put into this project, our band, our collective, our life.
This is for those of you who are able to play guitar way better than any of us does. This is for those who know how (and why) to shout into a microphone on top of your lungs. This is for those who always wanted to spend a huge amount of time and energy on the road, in mouldy backstage rooms, in nonprofessional recording situations, in the smallest rehearsal room in whole Austria.
!!!! WE ARE LOOKING FOR A NEW GUITAR PLAYER !!!
Please remember – after all, we are a political punkrock band that's working hard for literally no remuneration. WE ARE IN LOVE WITH WHAT WE ARE DOING! SO SHOULD YOU!
We play up to 100 shows a year, and we are still going for more. We love playing in front of 2 people as much as in front of 2000, and along the last 160000km, we spent more nights on floors than in hotel rooms. It can be a really tough racket to be in a band, but mostly everything turns out cool in the end. We don't think about our future because... well, just because. You'll like it!
We're located in Austria, where we're split up between Wiener Neustadt and Vienna, though we are rehearsing in Wiener Neustadt 3-4 times a week. We're all vegetarians and vegans, so this would be a plus if you were too but this is no must. don't be scared if you're not, we definitely won't force anything onto you. in general, don't be scared to get in touch, even if you don't think that you're the world's best guitarrero. playing guitar is a lifelong learning process.

ich finds so schad...ich trauer jetz scho umman lux...als ich das oben stehende glesen hab sind mir auf einmal tränen in die augen gschossen (was zach is)...find rentokill a super band und würd ihnen verdammt gern helfen, weils für mich der inbegriff der punk-musikszene in österreich sind...bin aber wahrscheinlich zu jung und wüsst nicht wie ich ihnen helfen könnt, außer dass ich kingdom auf der gitarre spielen kann (zumindest das intro ^^)...
freu mich schon riesig auf die show im triebwerk...das wird ein fest

Ich glaub die meisten können einfach nicht bezüglich ihren Verpflichtungen denen sie nachzugehen haben. In Rentokill zu spielen heisst halt mittlerweile schon seinen Job an den Nagel zu hängen, weil kaum Zeit übrigbleibt. Das muss sehr gut überlegt sein.

| da gibts gar nicht soviel zum gespannt sein. in payerbach wird sich am bühnenlineup nix verändert haben. aber ja, schockierenderweise fand sich in ö niemand der bereit war uns menschlich u/o musikalisch zu ertragen. nach der tour im februar wird ein schweizer eingebürgert sein. freut euch mit uns, endlich wieder ein punker in der band |
